It began in early 2007 and was completed in June 2008. This Project uses a linked website to make accessible a vast array of archives and information on the historical development of the Newry & Mourne – Louth region Newry and Mourne District Council [ http://www.newryandmourne.gov.uk ] Northern Ireland Museums Council [ http://www.nimc.co.uk ] The NIMC supports local museums in Northern Ireland in maintaining and improving their standards of collection care and services to the public, and to promote a coherent framework of museum provision. The Reminiscence Network Northern Ireland [ http://www.rnni.org ] The network is a charitable organisation founded in 1998 which provides:
- training courses in reminiscence work
- specialised workshops
- a reminiscence resource centre
- conferences
- networking opportunities through membership
- information about reminiscence activity through a newsletter
